Manuela Arnold MSFM, RPF

Woodlands Manager, Beaumont Timber Company

Beaumont Timber Company Ltd.

Manuela (Mani) has been living and working as a forester in the Revelstoke area for the last 15 years. She has a degree in geography (Bachelor of Science) from University of Victoria (2011) as well as a Masters in Sustainable Forest Management (2015) from UBC. For a decade, Mani worked in consulting, starting from the ground up learning how to traverse a block, cruise, recce, and layout of roads and cutblocks. For a few years she had the opportunity to write Site Plans in the North Okanagan and Shuswap. In 2022 she switched to a manager role with Beaumont Timber. Challenges in this position abound, as Woodlands Manager she tackles all aspects of the 11,000 ha private managed forest, from tree planting to road building and logging. She is a self-proclaimed jack-of-fall-trades forester, master of some.
