Doug Lewis is a landscape Ecologist with the Cumulative Effects Section of BC Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship. Doug’s main role is evaluating the combined effects of land use and natural disturbances on forest ecosystems and how those disturbances affect how we manage for forest-related values. Over the past 25 years Doug has been involved in applied research, assessment and management related to forest biodiversity, old growth, watershed hydrology and a number of wildlife species. Doug is a Registered Professional Forester and has a Masters Degree in Resource and Environmental Management from Simon Fraser University
